Centrifugal user seminars in the USA

BMA America organised two centrifugal seminars which took place at the end of October 2009. The first training was held in Fargo, ND, the second one in Clewiston, FL. The seminars covered a wide range of topics:

  • BMA's service concept in North America
  • Design features of batch and continuous centrifugals
  • Centrifugation technology in the sugar industry
  • Process automation and new products such as the new K 3300 centrifugal
  • DynFAS MW sensor

The BMA America team was supplemented by staff from BMA AG and BMA Automation, BMA's automation division.

The participants came from both beet and cane sugar factories as well as from sugar refineries in the USA, Canada and Mexico. There were plenty of interesting discussions during the presentations and during the coffee and lunch breaks. The participants shared their experiences and insights with each other and were able to benefit from advice given by the BMA staff.
