The capital of the Guangxi Autonomous Region in the south of China, Nanning has 1.7m inhabitants. It is also located in a province that produces more than 60 % of China’s sugar output. Unlike BMA China’s head office in Kunming, this places the new Nanning office right in the heart of China’s cane sugar industry. “We will now be closer to our customers’ factories and headquarters”, explains Ralf Sänger, General Manager of BMA China. “Plus, the prestigious Guangxi University at Nanning offers courses for sugar technologists.”
BMA China are going to keep their Kunming office. Nanning will initially focus on strengthening the company’s sales activities, says Sänger, as well as providing technical support to customers.
