The 32nd edition – 13,000 runners – 300 helpers: those are the indicators of this year’s Braunschweig Night Run in a nutshell. Competitors could register for nine different events: 600 m Kids’ Runs, races for primary school children, races open to anyone, and the 9,650 m race, which even attracted star runners.

About 30 BMA colleagues started at around 9.30 p.m. to compete in the 6,500 m Team Run, with temperatures still in the high twenties. The fastest BMA runner over this distance was Simon Wünschirs, who crossed the finishing line after 26:47 minutes. He achieved an impressive 63rd place in the individual ranking. The other BMA runners also finished the race in very good time, placing BMA’s first team 17th out of 121 competing teams – well done, everybody!
