This year's fair was held in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, between 8 and 11 August. The sugar industry in Guatemala is one of the fastest growing sugar industries worldwide. ATAGUA (Asociación de Técnicos Azucareros de Guatemala) is the most important sugar fair in Central America, and is regularly attended by senior sugar factory representatives. BMA AG has maintained very good business relations with the sugar factories in Guatemala for many years.
